IMPORTANT INFORMATION

MUD !!
There may be muddy conditions at almost any festival if it rains heavily. Please ensure you are prepared - wellies, warm clothing, waterproofs - usual English summer wear!
It is possible that certain areas of the festival site will be inaccessible for wheelchairs. We will do our best to ensure you get to everything you want to see or enjoy but on site conditions may mean we can't give any guarantees. We are in touch with festival organisers to ensure maximum accessibility for disabled and wheelchair users.

Our support team
The Festival Spirit support team includes well qualified nurses and carers. Able-bodied young people (our Buddies, aged 18+) act as escorts around the festival site to ensure maximum enjoyment of the musical performances and side shows and help out with camp duties.

Where do we stay?
Each group will stay in wonderful marquees and enjoy the full festival experience. Our accommodation has hard flooring, profile beds, hoists and electricity.

How do we get there?
A fully adapted bus will transport everyone to and from the festival site. This year we’re picking up our festival goers from, Banbury, Oxford, Abingdon, Wantage, and Newbury. If you can't make a pick up or drop off at one of these sites please get in touch. The pick-up is during the afternoon of the first day and return drop-off will be in the morning of the last day.

What’s the programme?
On arrival at the festival there is a welcome party followed by a tour of the arenas with help from the Buddies. The daily programme tends to be driven by the musical tastes of each individual. Potential festival goers should check out the line ups at WOMAD and Wilderness. The variety of music at both festivals is amazing.

What does it cost?
The cost for VIP's is £150. The cost for nurses, carers and buddies is £60.
This includes transport (from designated pick up points only), festival entry, accommodation, arrival party and a daily brunch meal. You will be expected to pay for your own food through the day. The venue has a fantastic range of foods available.

How do I pay?
Full payment must be made to "Festival Spirit Ltd" on acceptance. Please send cheques to:

Difficulty paying?
Those who have difficulty in funding their trip should contact us. We work closely with Rotary clubs and other organisations (e.g. True Colours Trust http://www.truecolourstrust.org.uk/individual-grants-uk/) who may be willing to sponsor places. Social Services and other charities may also fund VIP's so do ask where possible, it helps us keep the events affordable for all.Festival Spirit is a small charity run entirely by volunteers so unfortunately we do not have the funds to provide financial support.
